Refund Policy

Effective date: 7 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 7 August 2026

1. Who processes your payment

Hypervex Pro subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle (paddle.com). Our order process is conducted by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record and reseller for all orders.

This means Paddle — not Hypervex — is the seller of record, issues your invoice, collects any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, and processes refunds. Paddle's own buyer terms and refund policy apply to your purchase alongside this policy. Where the two differ, whichever terms are more favourable to you prevail.

2. Free tier

The Free tier requires no payment method and costs nothing. There is nothing to refund, and you can stop using it at any time by uninstalling the Hypervex GitHub App.

We recommend using the Free tier — one connected repository and up to 10 security reviews per month — to evaluate whether Hypervex is right for you before subscribing to Pro.

3. Cancelling a Pro subscription

You may cancel at any time from your Hypervex dashboard, or through the customer portal linked from your Paddle billing receipt.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full Pro access until that date, and you will not be charged again. Cancelling does not delete your account or your review history.

4. Refunds

14-day goodwill refund. If you are not satisfied with Hypervex Pro, contact us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund that charge in full. You do not need to give a reason.

Partial months. Outside the 14-day window we do not refund partial months. When you cancel, your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.

Statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable consumer protection law, including the statutory right of withdrawal available to consumers in the UK, EU and other jurisdictions. Where such a right applies, it takes precedence over the terms above.

Duplicate and erroneous charges. If you are charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged an incorrect amount, contact us and we will arrange a full refund of the incorrect charge regardless of timing.

5. Service failures

If Hypervex is materially unavailable for an extended period, or a defect on our side prevents the Service from delivering reviews for a sustained part of your billing period, contact us. We will offer a pro-rated refund or credit for the affected period.

This does not cover findings you disagree with. AI-generated security findings are probabilistic and may include false positives and false negatives, as disclosed in our Terms of Service. Disagreement with the substance of a review is not a service failure — but we do want to hear about it, because it is how the product improves.

6. How to request a refund

Email admin@hypervex.ai from the address associated with your Hypervex account. Include the approximate date of the charge and, if you have it, the Paddle receipt or order reference.

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, and typically take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank or card issuer.

You may also contact Paddle directly using the details on your billing receipt, since Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are slow for you and costly for us, and almost everything is resolved faster by email.

We will not suspend or restrict your account for asking about a charge.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and notify subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Changes are not retroactive: the policy in force at the time of your charge governs that charge.
